Hypership iOS and WP7 Graphics Overhaul

For the upcoming iOS release of Hypership Out of Control, I decided that some new and improved graphics were in due order. I liked the work
EWorkProxy
has done on my upcoming release Volchaos so I contacted them about doing the work. While it's not all totally done, below is just a sample of what's to come...
For comparison's sake, here's the original artwork.
What's done so far I believe is a big step up in quality from what was there before (I did all the old artwork myself and I'll be the first to tell you I'm
NOT
an artist). The game has overall been really well received but it hasn't been downloaded as much as I would like. This new coat of paint will hopefully make the screen shots and videos more impressive and draw in some eyes that may have otherwise overlooked Hypership because of lackluster visuals. You do need eye-candy to get people to try your game (and good gameplay to keep them playing).
The new artwork will be included in the iOS version of Hypership immediately upon release and will be coming soon to the WP7 and PC versions (whenever we release a PC version, we're still reassessing where to release since Steam denied us).
The XBLIG version of Hypership won't be getting the new artwork though. Hypership for XBLIG was written and released as an XNA 3.1 game. Currently you can only submit XNA 4.0 games to XBLIG. While I have converted Hypership to XNA 4.0 (because I had to do this for the WP7 version), I did not fix the online leaderboards to work with XNA 4.0 and I do not want to go through the pain of doing so. I've toyed with the idea of bringing the new Hypership graphics to XBLIG in some form but right now I've got a couple other projects to get off my plate before I seriously do anything in that direction.
What do you think? Like the new graphics? Will this make you want to play even more? Have you seen the muffin man?
